Digital Encoders for position and angle sensing.

I. ABSOLUT ENCODER
read-out an absolute coded data information on the actual position within their full range with resolution and parameters to order, which is also able to be read-out after supply voltage was cut off.
II. INCREMENTAL ENCODER
generate pulses with resolution and parameters to order to be counted up and down by external electronic device for relative position measurement from a defined set-point.
Encoders' definition is ruled by the application and ambiance to operate in:
1. Linear Displacement Transducer
with shaft encoder or potentiometer: simple to handle, no extra space required
2. Shaft Encoders for position sensing via spindle drive or geared motor or by measuring wheel or belt transmission or similar
3. Encoders for angle sensing Shaft encoders need coupling and centered mounting face Hollow shaft encoders are set direct onto the drive shaft
4. Manual Pulse Generators and Hand-Held Terminals - incremental encoders
