The optical incremental shaft encoder EE110 is an angular measurement device in a very compact construction, but also with a high number of pulses per revolution, sine/cosine-signals, high angular measurement accuracy, a wide spread temperature range and high protection class. The EE110 only needs 50 mm mounting space in depth including flange. Dimensions of the square flange are 92.5 x 92.5 mm. The encoder shaft is available in every diameter from 6 mm to 12.7 mm, slot and spring design is possible. The encoder can be manufactured with a resolution up to 900,000 pulses per revolution. Supply voltage is available with the following combinations:
5 VDC with RS422 line driver or
The presented EE110 is also available with sine/cosine-signals
of 1 Vpp and angular measurement accuracy of 5'' with supply voltage
of 5 or 10 - 30 Volts. Therefore EE110 is suitable for
high-precision positioning tasks.
10 - 30 VDC with push-pull outputs with 3 or 6 channels or RS422 line driver. Above all the STANDARD ENCODER EE110 is most favourable for applications in high speed drives, because of its high maximum rotational speed of 10,000 rpm. Operation temperature is 0° to +70° Celsius, optional either -20° to +110° Celsius or -42° to +110° Celsius. EE110 is shock resistant up to 100 g. Protection class is IP 65. IP 68 is also available on request.
EE110 is manufactured with cable outlet or connector mounted on
the side. The standard cable has a length of 1 m. On customer's
request longer cables can be assembled.
