Mini Encoder ED 26 und Mini No Shaft Encoder EDH 26

A BIG ONE amongst small encoders.

From our product range we present today the MINI ENCODER ED 26 as shaft encoder and the MINI NO SHAFT ENCODER EDH 26 as the smallest hollow shaft encoder.

In spite of the small package diameter of 26 mm the shaft encoder as well as the no shaft encoder provides all advantages normally found only with encoders in standard package diameter of 58 mm.

Both encoders are available with resolutions of 2,500 pulses per revolution. Using 4-times edge analysis 10,000 edges for counting are provided. In the resolution range from 1 to 2,500 every number of pulses is available.

Supply voltage is offered in combination with 5 VDC with RS422 line driver or 10 - 30 VDC with push-pull 3 or 6 channel output or RS422 line driver. With design 10 - 30 VDC the encoders are short-circuit-proof and protected against reverse connection.

The ED 26 encoder as well as the EDH 26 no shaft encoder can be manufactured with every shaft diameter from 4 mm up to 6 mm. For mounting the ED 26 we offer the appropriate coupling as accessory. EDH 26 is delivered including the spring mounting.

Shaft load is <20 N in radial direction and <10 N in axial direction. The built-in ball bearings are designed for high rotational speed of 10,000 rpm. Therefore the device is especially suitable for mounting on high speed drives.

Shock resistance is 100 g.

Standard operating temperature range covers 0° to +80° Celsius. Protection class is IP 54.

MINI ENCODER ED 26 and MINI NO SHAFT ENCODER EDH 26 are as shown available with Binder connector (different pole assignment) or with cable outlet on side or rear. Standard cable length is 1 m. On customer's request longer cables can be assembled.
