Standard Encoder EE 115
The optical incremental STANDARD ENCODER EE 115 with a solid shaft is an encoder with high resolution. For easy mounting the encoder is equipped with a large flange of 115 mm in diameter.
EE 115 is produced with resolutions from 1 to 10,000 pulses per revolution with square-wave signals or sine/cosine signals. Resolutions up to 500,000 pulses per revolution are available with square-wave signals.
High angular measurement accuracy is ±1 angular minute (standard) for square-wave signals and sine/cosine signals, optional ±25 or ±10 angular seconds.
Supply voltage is available with the following combinations:
10 - 30 VDC with push-pull outputs or RS 422 line driver.
The presented EE 115 is available with sine/cosine-signals of 1 Vpp with supply voltage of 5 or 10 - 30 Volts.
Because of the high maximum rotational speed of 12,000 rpm the encoder EE115 can be mounted directly to a motor.
Operation temperature is 0° to +80° Celsius, optional -42° to +110° Celsius. EE115 is shock resistant up to 200 g. Protection class is IP 65. IP 68 is also available on request.
The STANDARD ENCODER EE115 is especially suitable for applications in high speed drives and for high precision positioning tasks.
EE 115 is available with cable outlet or flange connectors mounted on the side or on the rear. The standard cable has a length of 1 m. Different flange connectors or longer cables are assembled on customer's request.
