Manual Encoder

In this product range, we offer our Manual Encoder, which have incremental as well as absolute signals output and Programmable Terminals for setpoint for controllers.

The manual encoder have a resolution up to 10,000 pulses per revolution incremental, Bit/30 16 bit absolute and are equipped with a mechanical or magnetic latching mechanism. All fieldbus interfaces are available as connection option.

Incremental manual puls generator are the manual encoder
of the product group ESV, ESO, ESM , with a mechanical detent and resolutions of 25 or 100 pulses per revolution with a supply voltage of 5 VDC or 12 VDC. There are very flat design from an installation depth of 9.7 mm and small sizes with a diameter of 60 mm.

The robust manual encoder with magnetic detent and detent 100 points based on our extremely reliable incremental and absolute encoders from our standard range, are unique.

The manual encoder with the standard incremental encoders with a resolution of 1 to 10,000 pulses per revolution and can be manufactured with any number of increments. It can be connected directly via the push-pull outputs or RS422 line driver outputs to the PLC. For the electrical connection terminal block, connector or cable outlet are available. The supply voltage is 5 VDC or 10-30 VDC. For the robust support of the shaft 2 large ball bearings are fitted into the flange. The shaft may also be optionally operated by a large handle. The front panel protection IP 65, is remarkable for handwheels .

The manual encoder with the standard absolute encoders provides the user with all standard interfaces, such as SSI, Profibus, CANopen, DeviceNet, Interbus, Ethernet Powerlink, parallel push-pull with a resolution of 16 bit Bit/30 available. The manual encoder are equipped with an electronic adjustment, change of direction, wear-free magnetic detent and are programmable and can be easily insert into existing systems by the connection to PLC / Fieldbus systems.

The incremental operating terminals EHP have a flat design of 31 mm made of ABS plastic and are protected by IP 65 suitable for use in harsh environments. The operator terminals that are programmable, up to 16 axes and four factors selected and the axis positions can be displayed. The devices have a switch for the axis " X , Y, Z , 4" , and a switch for the factor setting "1 , x10 , x100 " . The knob used with mechanical detent is available in the resolution of 25 or 100 pulses per revolution. The supply voltage is 5 VDC with RS422 line driver or 5-12 VDC with open-collector output with internal pull -up resistor . The data exchange takes place via an RS232 interface . Green LED indicator light, additional emergency stop button and partially 3-stage release button are possible. Fixing is by terminals or with a spiral cable of 2 , 3 or 5 meters in length.
